LEVELS

 

In Sinera Swing Festival we will divide the students into 5 levels:

Each level will have 6 hours of classes + 3 parties + 2 tasters

IMPORTANT

On Saturday 17th of September at 9:30 am there will be a mandatory level test.
Must attend all students, except for Level 1 students. 
The objective of this test is to make sure that all you have subscribed to your actual level of dance, then you can make better advantage of classes with dancers of your same level.

• Level 1. 

  • This level will be with school teachers only
    Between 3 and 6  months - You start to dance
    You must consolidate the basic steps and add some variation. You have not problems making basic steps (Swing Out, cercle, inside, outside, texas tommy, steps 6 times and 8 times,  triple kicks ...)
    Need to improve the rhythm and musicality and power out to dance on the party

    • You can not register anyone who does not have notions of Lindy Hop, we are working to offer next year a level for people who have not ever danced, or do not yet know the basic steps.

• Level 2. 

  • Level Beginners - Intermediate (Audition)
    Between 1 and 2 years of dance - You want to consolidate
    You need  to consolidate the basic steps and to add some variation
    You need to improve the connection to enjoy the dance together

• Level 3.

  • Intermediate (Audition)
    Between 2 and 3 years of dance - You want quantity
    You need a new vision of connection and musicality
    You want to be more comfortable with your partner and with the music

• Level 4.

  • Intermediate-Advanced (Audition)
    Between 3 and 4 years of dance - You want quality
    You want a closer connection with your partner and with the music
    You want new stuff to impress your partner and the others
    

• Level 5.

  • Advanced (Audition)
    Dancing for more than 4 years - You want everything !
    You want to find the secrets of Lindy Hop, you already control the ordinary stuff !
    You need to be pushed, this level is the challenge you are loking for !
